SBI PO (Probationary Officer)

SBI PO is an Officer level post in the State Bank Of India, one of the most reputed banks in India. Every year SBI releases notification for the recruitment of PO and lakhs of candidates appear in the examination in hope of realizing their dreams.

SBI PO is a 3-level recruitment program:

  • Level 1: Prelims Exam (Written)
  • Level 2: Mains Exam (Written)
  • Level 3: Interview

SBI Clerk 2022 (Clerical Cadre Exam)

SBI Clerk exam is held every year for the recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) for various branches of SBI in India.

Being a clerical cadre exam, it has more number of vacancies thus making it very popular among the aspirants.

SBI Clerk is a 2-tiered recruitment exam:

  • Tier 1 – Prelims
  • Tier 2 – Mains Exam

Remember No Interview is conducted for the recruitment of clerks in SBI. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their marks, scored in the mains round.

Note: Marks scored in Prelims are not considered for the final selection.

IBPS PO (Probationary Officer & Mgmt. Trainees)

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts an annual exam for the recruitment of Probationary Officer for various Public Sector Banks (PSB’s). Almost 20 banks participate in the drive to fill the positions of PO in their organization.

IBPS is the exam conducting authority which is entitled with the task of conducting the recruitment process and fulfilling banks requirement.

The recruitment process is a 3-tiered recruitment process. The process starts with the conduction of the IBPS PO Prelims phase, then Mains round and followed by Interview.

An aggregate marks of mains and interview is considered for the final allotment of positions in the bank.

English Language, Numerical Ability, & Reasoning Ability are the topics appearing in the prelims phase and an additional General/Financial awareness section is added in the mains phase.

IBPS Clerk (Clerical Cadre)

The purpose to set up IBPS was to encourage youngsters for recruitment and placement in the banking sector.

The IBPS Clerk recruitment process is for the recruitment of Office Assistant in the Public Sector Banks. A large number of vacancies are released every year and is a very popular exam among the aspirants.

The recruitment exam for IBPS Clerk is a 2 level recruitment program. The selection procedure is consisting of the following steps:

  • Step 1 – Prelims Exam (Written exam comprising MCQ’s from Eng., Reasoning, & Numerical Ability)
  • Step 2 – Mains Exam (3 similar subjects from prelims along with additional General Awareness section)

Although the sections are similar in prelims and mains, the main change is in the difficulty level of the exam.

The final merit list is prepared on the basis of marks scored in the mains round. No interview is conducted in the IBPS Clerk recruitment process.

IBPS RRB PO

IBPS RRB PO is the exam conducted by the IBPS for the recruitment of Scale I Officer or Assistant Managers in the Regional & Rural Banks. This is considered as the Group A job in the banking industry.

Aspirants between the age of 18-30 can apply for the posts. The recruitment process is conducted in 3 steps.

  • Phase 1 – Prelims Exam
  • Phase 2 – Mains Round
  • Phase 3 – Interview Round

One very important thing to notice here is that the candidates clearing the prelims phase will only be eligible for appearing in the mains round.

The final allotment is done on the basis of the marks scored in Mains and Interview combined.

IBPS RRB Office Assistant

Any eligible candidate willing to join the Regional & Rural Banks of India has to undergo this exam. This is a ‘Group B’ post for a multipurpose work profile.

Depending on the vacancies reported to the IBPS by the participating banks, the recruitment process is carried out by the IBPS.

The provisional allotment is done by the end of the recruitment process. The selection procedure of the candidates as Office assistant in IBPS RRB Clerk includes the following steps:

  • Step 1 – Prelims Phase
  • Step 2 – Mains Round

The final allotment is done on the basis of performance of candidates in the mains round. Prelims marks are not considered for the provisional allotment and are only qualifying in nature.

The Final decision to recruit is taken by the Regional & Rural Banks after taking into account all the necessary factors and eligibility as per bank.

Aspirants above the age of 18 and upto the age of 30 can apply for this post.

NABARD Assistant 

NABARD is one of the supreme banks in the Banking Industry for the Rural & Agricultural Sector. NABARD provides one of the finest culture and environment thus making it the most sought after job in the country.
