Celkon Mobiles is planning to establish an R&D and design house with an investment of around Rs.100 crore and employ 500 people on the facility. The choice of location is either Hyderabad or Bengaluru.

SpiceJet plans to induct more women pilots.

No-frills carrier SpiceJet, which is seeing a turnaround, plans to induct more women pilots and also provide greater flexibility at work for the staff.

Paytm wins title sponsorship rights for BCCI matches.

One97 Communications, owners of Paytm, today acquired the title sponsorship rights for India’s domestic and international cricket matches at home for a period of four years with a bid price of Rs 203.28 crore.

Thomas Cook (India) buys Sri Lankan firm.

Thomas Cook (India) Ltd. has acquired Sri Lanka-based destination management company Luxe Asia through its wholly-owned subsidiary Thomas Cook Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd. for an unspecified amount. The company will be operated as an independent entity.
