RRB NTPC Exam Fee Refund | Link Activated (Apply Before 31 August 2021)

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has activated the links for fee refund of non-technical popular categories (NTPC exam), the candidates can submit the bank account details to get the refund. Candidates who had attempted the NTPC, first stage computer-based test (CBT-1) from December 28 to July 31 are only eligible to get the refund in their bank accounts submitted. The link for fee refund will remain active till August 31 (11:59 PM).

“As per Para No. 7.0 of CEN 01/2019, candidates who had appeared in the first stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1) held from 28.12.2020 to 31.07.2021 in 7 (seven) Phases, are entitled to get the refund of their examination fee (which was Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/ExSM/PwBD /Female/Minority/EBC/ Transgender candidates and Rs. 400/- for others), after deduction of banking/service charges as applicable,” read the official notification released by the RRB.

All Candidates who had appeared the CBT-1 are advised to provide their Bank Account details for getting the refund of exam fees. They are requested to ensure that the Bank Account Number, Name and IFSC Code entered are correct and check it carefully before submitting. It may be noted that modification of bank details after submission will not be possible.

RRB NTPC Fee Refund | How To Submit The Bank Details?

Step 1: Visit the official website – rrbcdg.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link to submit the bank account details

Step 3: On the new window, enter your roll number, date of birth, OTP received on the registered mobile number and captcha

Step 4: Click on the login button

Step 5: On the new page, enter your name as on the bank account, account number and branch IFSC code.

Step 6: Click on submit

NOTE: Candidates are advised to ensure that the bank account number, name, and IFSC code entered are correct and check it carefully before submitting. It may be noted that modification of bank details after submission will not be possible. 

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern for CBT Stage II

Candidates passing this will be eligible to appear in CBT Stage 2.

Separate 2nd Stage CBT shall be taken for each of the 7th CPC Level i.e. Level 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 with graded difficulty level. All posts falling within the same level of 7th CPC shall have a common 2nd stage CBT. If candidates are eligible for more than one level of 7th CPC posts as per their educational qualifications, they have to give common 1st stage CBT and corresponding 2nd stage CBT for each level of 7th CPC.

The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices.

Note: There will be negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

Typing Speed / Skill Test

Skill test/type test will be conducted for both CBT qualifying candidates as per the requirement. The typing speed for both Hindi and English languages ​​should be so that candidates applying for the recruitment of RRB NTPC should have a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi. This will make it difficult for you to be selected in RRB NTPC at a low speed.
