SBI Apprentice Syllabus 2026

The selection process for the SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 includes an Online Examination and a Test of Local Language conducted by the State Bank of India. The online examination is designed to assess candidates in areas such as Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, General English, and General/Financial Awareness. Candidates who qualify in the online examination will be called for the Local Language Test.

Candidates must qualify at every stage to be considered for final engagement as SBI Apprentices. The SBI Apprentice Selection Process 2026 consists of the following stages:

  1. Online Written Examination
  2. Test of Local Language
  3. Medical Examination
  4. Document Verification

SBI Apprentice Exam Pattern 2026

Candidates should understand the SBI Apprentice Exam Pattern 2026 before starting their preparation. The online examination will consist of 100 objective-type questions carrying a total of 100 marks. The total duration of the examination will be 1 hour with separate sectional timing.

  • The exam will be conducted in online mode.
  • Questions will be objective-type MCQs.
  • Each section will have separate timing.
  • There will be negative marking of 1/4th marks for every incorrect answer.
  • No penalty will be applicable for unanswered questions.
  • Except for General English, questions will be bilingual (English and Hindi/regional language as applicable).
  • Candidates qualifying in the online exam will appear for the Local Language Test.
  • Candidates who have studied the specified local language in Class 10th or 12th may be exempted from the language test upon producing valid proof.

Candidates who qualify in the online written examination will have to appear for the Local Language Test for final selection. The candidate should be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language of the state they have applied for.

  • The test is qualifying in nature.
  • Candidates must know the specified local language of the applied state.
  • The language test will be conducted after the online examination.
  • Candidates who fail in the Local Language Test will not be engaged as apprentices.
