- Start by learning the format and structure of an essay and a letter in the SBI PO examinations. Understanding the structure of the writing assignments is the most important step for the preparation of the SBI PO Descriptive Paper.
- While answering the questions given in the SBI PO Descriptive Paper, you will be required to provide information in a clear and concise manner within a limited number of words. To learn how this is done, refer to the previous years’ SBI PO Descriptive Papers’ solutions.
- Practice typing your responses to both the essay and the letter in the computer. In the SBI PO Mains examination, you will be required to type your answers, so practice typing to ensure that your speed and accuracy improve. This can be of great benefit to you in the exam.
- When you start practicing, type the essay and the letter without a timer. However, as you become more and more skilled at completing those tasks, start timing your sessions. In the SBI PO Mains exam, you shall only have 30 minutes to complete both answers, so you cannot afford to take too much time for 1 question.
- In the SBI PO Descriptive paper, you could be asked to write on any topic (for the essay) or address any issue (for the letter). Therefore, you need to stay updated with the latest happenings in the country. To ensure that you are prepared, read 1 newspaper religiously everyday. The objective here is to not just ensure that you are aware of the news and current happenings, but also to ensure that you are able to discuss and debate on them.
