SSC MTS 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Following are the eligibility criteria that a candidate needs to fulfill in order to appear for SSC MTS 2022:

Age Limit

The age limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various User Departments are:

i) A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and not exceeding 25 years of age.

ii) A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and not exceeding 27 years of age.

Apart from the pre-mentioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation as per Government Rules.

PwD (SC/ ST)	15 years
Ex-Servicemen (ESM)	03 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on closing date of receipt of online application.

Nationality

A candidate is must be:

1. A citizen of India
2. Subject of Nepal
3. Subject of Bhutan
4. Tibetan Refugee
5. Person of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.

Educational Qualification

The candidate should pass Matriculation or its equivalent Exam from a recognized State Board / Institute.

SSC MTS 2022 – Exam Pattern

SSC MTS Exam Pattern Paper I

Paper I is an objective test consisting of 100 questions from 4 sections. The pattern is presented below.

Paper II is a descriptive test consisting of writing essay, letter in English/choice of language as per the candidate. The pattern is presented below.
