Introduction 

I am from Ichapur, 24 PGS(N) district of West Bengal. My father is a Businessman and My mother is a Singer and Homemaker. I have done my schooling from Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission, Barrackpore. I have done B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from Techno India University, West Bengal. My hobbies are Strength Training, Language Learning (Japanese). My family business and consistency during Daily Workout will definitely help me in the Banking Sector.

Debasish Garai- Preparation Journey 

Started with Engineering based exams but due to limited knowledge, I switched to Banking and SSC-based exams in November 2021. After several failed attempts, this year I have qualified for several mains exams and finally fully cleared SBI PO in my 2nd attempt (1st time ever Mains qualified). Oliveboard helped me a lot during this preparation, whether it is Live classes or MOCK tests.

Subject-Wise Preparation Strategy 

Quant- Initially Youtube free classes and then Oliveboard Live classes with Lokesh Sir and Vivek Sir. (Paid class). Self-study is a major thing. 

Reasoning – Initially Youtube free classes and then Oliveboard Live classes with Nikita Ma’am. (Paid class). Self-study is a major thing.

English – Initially Youtube free classes and then Oliveboard Live classes with Saba Ma’am and Harshita Ma’am. (Paid classes) Self-study is a major thing.

GK/GA – Initially Youtube free classes and these are game changers for me. Started following ADITYA SIR – daily 8 am TNA. Along with that, paid classes on OB application and also, Sheetal Ma’am (Especially her paid classes and Live Marathon Classes) helped me a lot. Self-study is a major thing.

Interview – Here, I recorded small videos and teachers checked those and guided me. Self-study is a major thing here. The latest news and updated Banking Awareness is the most important factor. The Oliveboard team helped me a lot, with mock GD and PI. My actual GD and GE went well but PI was really stressful.

Role of Oliveboard

Oliveboard helped me a lot. From Live classes to Mock tests to GD+PI, every step. But, finally, self-study is everything to achieve one of the best Banking Jobs – SBI PO.

Feedback for Faculty

• Maths – Lokesh Sir helped me a lot, I studied with him. Vivek Sir helped me also, especially with DI classes.
• Reasoning – Nikita ma’am – is very polite and always solves everyone’s doubts.
• English – Both Saba Maam and Harshita Maam – massive help in every stage. Too good.
• GA – Aditya Sir – Sir is just awesome, whether daily TNA or Paid or Quiz or GD+PI mentor – always discussing key concepts and best approaches. Sheetal Ma’am is like a bullet train – massive help during revision, which is again one of the most important factors during GA preparation.
