UPSC ISS IES Selection Process 2024

The UPSC ISS IES Selection Process concludes in two stages: First stage, Written Exam and Second Stage, Interview. In written stage, there will be six papers for ISS and IES both exams. Two papers: General English and General Studies will be common for both exams and rest four papers will be respective of the Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service. General English and General Studies will be objective in nature and remaining papers will be Subjective. The written exam consists total of 1000 marks.

The Interview process consists of 200 marks. This process is done to evaluate the personality skills of the selected candidates.

UPSC ISS IES Selection Process

The selection process of the UPSC IES ISS recruitment takes place in two stages. The candidate who clears the written exam, are allowed for the Personality test. Both Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service have common subjective papers on General English and General Studies. The questions asked for General English and General Studies holds 200 marks in total. In the objective papers, 0.33 marks will be deducted for every wrong answers.

The ISS IES Exam is conducted in offline mode.
