The spacecraft, launched by the powerful Launch Vehicle Mark-III (LVM3), includes a lander and a rover. Once it lands on the Moon's surface in August, the rover will be released to explore and study the lunar surface. Image: Mint
The rover will be released from the Vikram Lander using a ramp. This rover has six wheels and gets its power from solar energy. It carries two special tools called spectrometers that help scientists study what the Moon's surface is made of.
