5. The Satpura Range

- Central India - Highest Peak - Dhupgarh (1350 m) 

6. The Aravalli Range

- Western  India - India's oldest mountain range - Highest Peak - Guru Shikhar, Mt. Abu (1722 m)

7. The Western Ghats

- Western Coast of India - UNESCO World Heritage Site - Highest Peak - Anamudi, Eravikulam National Park (2695 m)

8. The Eastern Ghats

- Eastern Coast of India - Highest Peak - Jindhagada (1690 m)
