It originates at Verinag and ends in the Pakistani province of Punjab. It is a tributary of the Chenab river and is around 725 km long. It is one of the five rivers of Punjab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chenab<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Chenab is another major river of Jammu and Kashmir. It originates in the Lahaul and Spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh and flows through the Jammu region of J&amp;K before finally ending in the plains of the Pakistani province of Punjab and finally flowing into the Indus River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chenab is formed from the combination of two water bodies Chandra and Bhaga. The ancient name of Ravi river is Irawati. It is a major river in India and Pakistan and an integral part of the Indus Basin. It originates in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Indus<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Indus river is the longest river in the subcontinent. It is about 3500 km long and around 1500 km of the river flows through the UT of J&amp;K.
