A cell is a the smallest but most powerful part of a spreadsheet. Every cell in MS Excel has a unique ID called <strong><em>Cell Address<\/em><\/strong>. Basically Cell Address contains Row Number and Column Number. For Eg. The cell will be highlighted whenever you select it. You can use arrow buttons on your keyboard to move left, right, top, and bottom in the sheet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Columns : <\/strong>There are a total of 16384 columns in an excel sheet. The column is nothing but the vertical cells in a sheet. You can select the entire column by clicking on the header (Eg. to select column H, click on <strong>H<\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rows : <\/strong>If the columns are a vertical set of cells, rows are the horizontal sets of cells. There are a total of 1048576 rows in a excel sheet make sure to memories it, because it can be asked in Exam sometimes \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fill Handle :<\/strong> The small dot present on the bottom right corner of the cell is called fill handle. Just drag it to fill the data in the empty cells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Address Bar : <\/strong>The place showing the cell address is called the address bar. In the above image the selected cell is D4, and you can see the address in the address bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Formula Bar &#8211; <\/strong>This basically shows the content of the cell, you can use this to enter formula in a cell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Title Bar &#8211; <\/strong>The name of the workbook is shown in the title bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>File Menu &#8211;<\/strong> It contains options like (Save, Save As, Open, New, Print, Excel Options, Share, etc).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Quick Access Toolbar &#8211;<\/strong> This toolbar is used to quickly access the options which you frequently use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Worksheet Tab &#8211; <\/strong>This tab shows all the worksheets which are present in the workbook. eg. Sheet 1, Sheet 2 etc. You can also rename these sheets as you want \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Status Bar &#8211;<\/strong> It is a thin bar at the bottom of the Excel window.
