By providing accessible Chemotherapy Services, insured workers and their dependents will have improved access to cancer treatment, enhancing their healthcare experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Other_Initiatives_Launched_at_the_191st_Meeting\"><\/span>Other Initiatives Launched at the 191st Meeting<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Control Room<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the Union Minister inaugurated a Control Room equipped with dashboards for ESIC. These dashboards will enhance the monitoring of resources and beds in ESIC hospitals, as well as provide real-time updates on ongoing construction projects and other relevant information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ESIC Medical Colleges<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To address the need for skilled medical professionals in ESIC Hospitals, the ESI Corporation has decided to expand its efforts in the field of medical education. New ESIC Medical Colleges and Hospitals will be established based on a thorough assessment of requirements. Currently, ESIC is successfully operating 8 medical colleges, 2 dental colleges, 2 nursing colleges, and one para-medical college.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, various agenda items focusing on the enhancement of Medical Care Services, Administration, and Financial Matters were discussed and finalized. This included a thorough review of ongoing construction projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New ESIC Hospitals<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting resulted in the principle approval for the establishment of <strong>15 new ESI Hospitals and 78 ESI Dispensaries<\/strong>. Additionally, there was an agreement to augment the bed capacity at ESIC Hospital, Beltola in Assam, ESIC Medical College &amp; Hospital in K. K. Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and ESIC Medical College &amp; Hospital in Faridabad, Haryana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other important initiatives<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the program, Shri Bhupender Yadav released important documents including the Citizen Charter, Manual of Audit &amp; Accounts of ESIC, Referral Policy, and Equipment Policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, Shri Yadav took the opportunity to honor <strong>5 iGoT (iGOT &#8211; Karmyogi Bharaat)<\/strong> learners from ESIC offices in Rajasthan, Kerala, and Bengaluru. The iGOT platform is designed to foster capacity development among civil services professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"About_The_Employees_State_Insurance_Corporation_ESIC\"><\/span>About The Employees\u2019 State Insurance Corporation (ESIC)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oliveboard.in\/blog\/epfo-ssa-vs-rrb-po-esic-udc-sbi-clerk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Employees\u2019 State Insurance Corporation (ESIC)<\/a> is a statutory social security organization in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>E<strong>stablished in 1948 under the Employees\u2019 State Insurance Act, 1948<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>The ESIC provides a range of social security benefits to employees in the organized sector, including medical care, sickness benefits, maternity benefits, disablement benefits, and death benefits.<\/strong><\/li><li>Funded by contributions from employees and employers.\u00a0<\/li><li><strong>The contribution rate is 4.75% of the employee\u2019s wages, with the employer paying an additional 3.25%.<\/strong><\/li><li>The ESIC has a network of hospitals and dispensaries across India. These hospitals provide medical care to insured persons and their families.<\/li><li>The ESIC also provides cash benefits to insured persons who are unable to work due to sickness, maternity, or disablement.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The ESIC is a vital social security institution in India. It provides much-needed protection to employees in the organized sector.
