Physiotherapists work with people of all ages and abilities, from infants to the elderly, and with people with a wide range of conditions, from injuries to chronic diseases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WPTD is an important event that helps to raise awareness of the importance of physiotherapy. It is a day to celebrate the work of Physiotherapists and to thank them for their dedication to helping people move and function better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"About_The_World_Confederation_for_Physical_Therapy\"><\/span>About The World Confederation for Physical Therapy<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 1951, it is the sole international voice for physiotherapy.
