Candidates are directly recruited as Clerks and Officers after their respective exams and interviews. Internal channels include the Trainee Officer (TO) route and the Officer Junior Management (OJM) path. To appear for this exam, a clerk must fulfill at least one of the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>3 years of service<\/strong> + cleared <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oliveboard.in\/caiib\/?ref=contan-bank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CAIIB<\/a><\/strong> (Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers), or<\/li><li><strong>4 years of service<\/strong> + cleared <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oliveboard.in\/jaiib\/?ref=contan-bank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">JAIIB<\/a><\/strong> (Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers), or<\/li><li><strong>6 years of service<\/strong> without JAIIB\/CAIIB.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon clearing the exam, the clerk is promoted to Trainee Officer (TO). TOs receive the same perks and responsibilities as POs and undergo a 2-year probation period. Their final confirmation depends on performance\u2014either they are promoted to MMGS-II or reverted to the Clerical Cadre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Officer Junior Management OJM Internal Exam<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Another internal channel is the <strong>OJM Written Exam + Interview<\/strong>, which also leads to Officer Cadre roles.
