As per a recent Global Trade Outlook and Statistics report by the World Trade Organisation, India&#8217;s exports of digitally delivered services reached $257 billion in 2023, marking a 17% increase compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This growth outpaced that of Germany and China, which saw 4% growth each. The report highlights that globally, exports of digitally delivered services surged to $4.25 trillion in 2023, marking a 9% year-on-year increase. The factory output measured in terms of the Index of Industrial Production (IIP) witnessed a growth of 6% in February 2023. The data released by the National Statistical Office (NSO) showed that the manufacturing sector\u2019s output grew 5% in February 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In February this year, mining production rose 8%, and power output increased 7.5%. Invesco is the fifth-largest foreign asset manager and the 17th largest domestic asset manager in India with combined onshore and offshore advisory and assets under management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"India_US_to_reactivate_observation_system_for_Indian_Ocean\"><\/span>India, US to reactivate observation system for Indian Ocean<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>India and the US have decided to reactivate the Indian Ocean Observing System, a network of 36 moored buoys in the high seas to collect high-resolution ocean and atmospheric data for weather forecasts. The moored buoys are part of the Research Moored Array for African-Asian-Australian Monsoon Analysis and Prediction program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was born out of a collaboration between the Ministry of Earth Sciences and NOAA in 2008.
