The National Sample Survey Office has been regularly conducting household consumption expenditure surveys since 1950.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The survey said that rural India on average, clocked a monthly Per capita consumption expenditure (MPCE of \u20b93,773 in the period under review. Urban India\u2019s average estimated MPCE during the period stood at \u20b96,459. The company sells flour mixes of gota, khaman, dalwada, dahi-wada, dhokla, idli and dosa in powder form and pleaded that it is akin to Sattu and should attract GST of 5%<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The appellate authority also said that merely because the end consumer of the instant mix flour is required to follow certain food preparation processes before such products can be consumed is no grounds that 18% GST should not be levied on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"RBI_plans_to_raise_the_bulk_deposit_limit_to_%E2%82%B93_crore_from_%E2%82%B92_crore\"><\/span>RBI plans to raise the bulk deposit limit to \u20b93 crore from \u20b92 crore<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With deposit growth lagging behind credit growth, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oliveboard.in\/blog\/rbi-grade-b-2024-exam-overview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Reserve Bank of India (RBI)<\/a> said it plans to revise upwards the definition of bulk deposits for scheduled commercial banks (excluding regional rural banks), small finance banks and local area banks. This is aimed at helping banks garner more deposits to support loan growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RBI is proposing to revise the definition of bulk deposits as \u2018single Rupee term deposit of \u20b93 crore and above\u2019 for scheduled commercial banks\/SCBs (excluding regional rural banks\/RRBs) and Small Finance Banks. Currently, \u2018single Rupee term deposits of \u20b92 crore and above\u2019 are classified as bulk deposits by these banks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, the central bank also plans to define the bulk deposit limit for Local Area Banks as \u2018Single Rupee term deposits of \u20b91 crore and above\u2019, as applicable in the case of RRBs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"RBI_ups_GDP_growth_projection_for_FY25_at_72\"><\/span>RBI ups GDP growth projection for FY25 at 7.2%<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oliveboard.in\/blog\/rbi-grade-b-2024-exam-overview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Reserve Bank of India (RBI)<\/a> has upped the real <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oliveboard.in\/blog\/gdp-full-form\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GDP<\/a> growth projection for 2024-25 to 7.2% from 7.0% projected earlier. The quarterly projections are Q1 at 7.3% (7.1% earlier projection), Q2 at 7.2% (6.9%); Q3 at 7.3% (7.0%); and Q4 at 7.2% (7.0%).
