In June 2023, the WB approved the $1.5 billion for the First Low-Carbon Energy Programmatic DevelopmentPolicyinvestment<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The development comes in the backdrop of India\u2019s ambitious National Green Hydrogen Mission and energy transition targets. The Centre has set a target of achieving 500 GW of installed renewable energy capacity by 2030 and reaching net zero by 2070.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Indias_Core_Sector_Grew_By_63_In_May\"><\/span>India\u2019s Core Sector Grew By 6.3% In May<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>India\u2019s core sector grew by 6.3% in May, this year as compared to the same period last year.
