As per the <strong>updated vacancy notice released on 20 July 2026<\/strong>, the total vacancies have increased from <strong>745 to 1,035<\/strong> with the addition of vacancies by <strong>Indian Bank<\/strong> across multiple posts. Initially, IBPS notified <strong>745 vacancies<\/strong>, but as per the <strong>revised vacancy notification issued on 20 July 2026<\/strong>, the total vacancies have been <strong>increased to 1,035<\/strong>. The revision comes after <strong>Indian Bank<\/strong> reported vacancies across multiple Specialist Officer posts, including IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer (AFO), Law Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, and Marketing Officer. <strong>UCO Bank and Union Bank of India are yet to report their vacancies<\/strong>, so the total may increase further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"IBPS_SO_Vacancy_Trend_%E2%80%93_Last_5_Years\"><\/span>IBPS SO Vacancy Trend \u2013 Last 5+ Years<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oliveboard.in\/ibps-so-notification\/?ref=conttm-ibps-so\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IBPS SO<\/a><\/strong> vacancy trend has witnessed significant fluctuations over the years depending on the recruitment requirements of participating public sector banks. While <strong>2024 recorded the highest recruitment with 2,973 vacancies<\/strong>, the revised <strong>2026 recruitment now stands at 1,035 vacancies<\/strong>, higher than the initially announced 745 vacancies.
