The current IIBF rules provide a maximum of 5 attempts or 3 years, whichever is earlier, for completing the examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Maximum Time Limit:<\/strong> Candidates have to complete the JAIIB examination within a maximum period of <strong>3 years<\/strong> from the date of registration for the first attempt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Maximum Attempts:<\/strong> A candidate is allowed a maximum of <strong>5 attempts<\/strong> to complete JAIIB. These attempts need not be consecutive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Attempts Counted on Registration:<\/strong> An attempt is counted when the candidate applies for the examination, whether or not the candidate actually appears for the examination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Validity of Retained Credits:<\/strong> Credits for papers already passed remain valid until the applicable <strong>3-year or 5-attempt limit<\/strong>, whichever comes earlier.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fresh Enrolment:<\/strong> If a candidate does not complete JAIIB within 3 years or 5 attempts, whichever comes earlier, they have to <strong>re-enrol afresh<\/strong>.
