I have a master\u2019s degree in molecular biology and biotechnology, so I\u2019m basically a scientist-turned-banker. My coursework and research were completed, and I was waiting for my article to get published. My main focus there was strengthening my fundamentals. I hadn\u2019t cleared SBI PO prelims earlier, so I felt that PO exams were out of my reach and that I should focus only on clerk exams. But with consistent practice, mock tests, and proper revision, I proved myself wrong and got selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Q5_How_did_mock_tests_help_you_in_clearing_SBI_PO\"><\/span>Q5. The mocks were very close to the actual exam level. The post-test analysis was extremely helpful, as it showed where I was lagging. What was your approach to reasoning ability?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A:<\/strong> Reasoning was actually a nightmare for me in the beginning, even though many people say it\u2019s easy. I practiced topic-wise and sectional tests through the test series. Slowly, reasoning became my favorite section. I made notes and revised consistently. There were times when it felt overwhelming, so I took short breaks and restarted.
