        The OTC Exchange of India is situated in Mumbai, Maharashtra and serves as the country\u2019s first exchange for small companies. Additionally, it is also the first screen-based stock exchange across the country.           The Ahmedabad Stock Exchange (ASE) is a permanent stock exchange according to the Securities Contract (Regulations) Act, 1956. It is also the second oldest stock exchange in India. However, recently the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has sent a notice to the ASE stating that they will not be recognized as a stock exchange anymore, due to their net worth being less than INR 100 Crores and their turnover being less than INR 1000 Crores.
