I have done my graduation in B.Com (Accounts Honours) \u00a0from Vinoba Bhave University. Just after my graduation, I started my preparation for various competitive exams. As I was not very sure about which sector I should opt for, I ended up giving exams for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oliveboard.in\/bank-exams\/?ref=blog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Banking<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oliveboard.in\/ssc-cgl\/?ref=blog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>SSC<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, Defence etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>My Preparation Strategy-<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>English: <\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Read as much as you can from everywhere &amp; anywhere as these days this section generally tests your interpretation skills and ability to comprehend it. So focus more on your reading skills rather than just preparing for grammar as the tests these days are less grammar oriented and more inclined on reading skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Apart from this, always remember to practice what you are studying. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oliveboard.in\/bank-exams\/?ref=blog&amp;next=https:\/\/practice.oliveboard.in\/banking2\/sectionaltests.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Oliveboard English Sectional tests<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and latest pattern mock tests are very useful. Try to solve all the mocks given and properly analyse it as well to maximise the impact. Also refer any one of the newspapers from financial express or the economic times as the passages in banking exams are economics oriented. You can also refer Kiran Publications 8900+ questions book for solving good amount of questions after every chapter. At the end I completed my preparation with Tata McGraw Hill by Arun Sharma. But here also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oliveboard.in\/bank-exams\/?ref=blog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>solving mock tests<\/strong><\/span><\/a> are of utmost importance as it helps us to know about latest pattern questions.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>GK: <\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If possible try to cover news papers on a daily basis. But most of the candidates like me are habituated of reading it from capsules.
