RBI sets timeline for reversal of failed Electronic Transactions<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

RBI has set up a framework defining the Turn around time for the reversal of failed electronic transactions.<\/p>\n

In case, if the customer’s account is debited, but the cash is not dispensed from the atm, the bank has to proactively look into the matter and reverse the fail transaction within T+5 days.<\/p>\n

Timeline will 1 day for UPI and IMPS Transactions, when these medium of transfers fail.<\/p>\n

If the bank fails to reverse the transaction within the defined limit of 5 days, a charge of 100\/- INR per day will be payable to the account holder.<\/p>\n

Assembly Polls to take place on Oct 21 in Haryana and Maharashtra<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Haryana and Maharashtra will be undergoing assembly elections on 21 Oct 2019. Votes counting on 24 Oct 2019.<\/p>\n

Chief Election Commissioner will be Mr Sunil Arora. Two election commissioner Mr Ashok Lavasa and Mr Sushil Chandra will accompany the\u00a0Chief Election Commissioner.<\/p>\n

Maharashtra has 288 seats while Haryana has 88 seats. Electorate count for Maharashtra will be around 8.9 cr while for Haryana it will be around 1.82 cr.<\/p>\n

Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhaduria is going to be New chief of Indian Air Force. He will take care of the position for the next 3 years.<\/p>\n

He will replace the current Chief of IAF Birender Singh Dhanoa.<\/p>\n

RKS Bhadauria is a native Korath village near Agra. He is an alumnus of National Defense Academy.<\/p>\n

Indian Air Force came into existence on 8th October 1932. IAF headquarter is in New Delhi.<\/p>\n

IDBI appoints new Deputy Managing Director<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Mr Samuel Joseph is going to take over the charge as the next Deputy Managing Director of IDBI Bank.<\/p>\n

He will serve in this position for the term of 3 years. He will be succeeding Mr KP Nair.<\/p>\n

After the acquisition by LIC, this is the bank’s first major appointment.<\/p>\n

MD and CEO of IDBI Bank is Mr Rakesh Sharma.<\/p>\n

Chairman of the LIC is Mr MR Kumar.<\/p>\n

LIC has 51% stakeholding in IDBI Bank. IDBI is now a Private Bank.<\/p>\n

Max Bupa and Indian Bank join hands to offer Health Insurance solution<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Max Bupa and Indian Bank have joined hands to provide health insurance solutions to customers of Indian bank.<\/p>\n

MD and CEO Of Indian Bank- Ms. Padmaja Chunduru<\/p>\n

Max Bupa has proposed to offer both Retail and Group Health Insurance besides Indemnity and Fixed benefits products.<\/p>\n
