Success Story of Dadi Ravi Varma<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

“Hello All, I am Dadi Ravi Varma, from Visakhapatnam. I completed my graduation in Nuclear Physics in 2016. <\/span><\/p>\n

When I was in my final year I got selected for TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Capgemini. I joined Infosys as an operations executive in 2016 itself in Mysore. <\/span><\/p>\n

After working for a year (May 2016- July 2017), I decided to quit the organisation as I felt its not my cup of tea. <\/span><\/p>\n

After coming back home I pursued my hobbies of reading and writing for about 6 months without any further plans for the career. <\/span><\/p>\n

Then in January 2018, I decided to take up Banking and Insurance exams<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and I started my preparation knowing about the exam pattern and the detailed syllabus. <\/span><\/p>\n

I thank my parents for enriching me with such a positive and dedicated attitude. <\/span><\/p>\n

I cleared BOB PO PGDBF and it is my first selection. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Joined BOB and then got my SBI PO<\/strong><\/span><\/a> final result and I got through in that too. <\/span><\/p>\n

Quitting BOB, I joined SBI as a Probationary Officer<\/strong> and continuing in SBI for the last 18 months.<\/span><\/p>\n

My SECTION WISE STRATEGY for Banking Exams:<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

ENGLISH Preparation Strategy:\u00a0 <\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

This section helped me a lot for my final score. <\/span><\/p>\n

I say test-taking is the only strategy which fits best for getting a decent score. <\/span><\/p>\n

Building good vocabulary is the key to success. (Read Daily Vocab booster<\/strong><\/a>) READ…READ…READ…SUCCEED<\/b>. <\/b>Read a lot irrespective of the text. You can read newspapers, magazines, novels and what not but just don\u2019t stop reading.<\/span><\/p>\n

Reading helps you to take a look at several words at a glance and while answering RC it saves a lot. <\/span><\/p>\n

Test-taking is another key factor and I followed only Oliveboard test series<\/strong> (Register and get a Free mock test now<\/strong><\/span><\/a>). I solved topic tests, sectional test and full-length tests. The level of difficulty is excellent and makes us completely fit to take the final exam. <\/span><\/p>\n

I advise all of you to take the Oliveboard test series to get the real feel of the final exam. <\/span><\/p>\n

The level of test series is a bit higher than the actual exam but the advantage with it is that it makes us more comfortable during final exam and we feel the paper is easy as we already got habituated with taking high-level difficulty questions. It happened to me!<\/span><\/p>\n

REASONING Preparation Strategy:<\/i><\/b> <\/span><\/h4>\n

This is the section where you can fetch more marks and make it as a deciding factor for your success.<\/span><\/p>\n

Puzzles are the heart of reasoning where you get 70% of the questions.<\/strong> Trust me, I practised 1700 puzzles for 35 days without a break for a single day. (Can you solve a puzzle in less than 3 minutes? check now<\/strong><\/span><\/a>)
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

You may feel a little boredom but practice is the key to success in any competitive exam.<\/span><\/p>\n

QUANT Preparation Strategy:<\/i><\/b> <\/span><\/h4>\n

Focus on Series, Simplifications, Data Interpretation and Quadratic Equations (Solve High-level DI Questions here<\/strong><\/span><\/a>) <\/span><\/p>\n

Focus on getting 20-23 in prelims as you have only 20 minutes. <\/span><\/p>\n

I avoided miscellaneous topics except 2 or 3 simple topics. Do not waste much time on practising miscellaneous questions as the question variations are more. <\/span><\/p>\n

So use the technique 20-20-20( 20 attempts in 20min with 20 score).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

GK Preparation Strategy:<\/i><\/b> <\/span><\/h4>\n

BOLT <\/i>monthly magazines helped me a lot and 27-29 questions came directly from these in SBI PO and IBPS PO. (Download Monthly Bolt here<\/strong><\/span><\/a>)

6 months of current affairs are needed and special articles such as budget and the economic survey take some significance. <\/span><\/p>\n

MY STRATEGY & ADVICE TO ALL THE ASPIRANTS:<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

Believe me, I prepared only for 72 days for these exams. I say bank and insurance exams are one of the easiest to clear because of the well-defined syllabus and well-maintained pattern. <\/span><\/p>\n

It may sound ridiculous but it is a fact. I used to prepare for 10 hours a day. <\/span><\/p>\n

The only thing in my mind was to clear the exams in the first attempt. I know it is going to be a waste of 1 year if I miss the exam that particular year. <\/span><\/p>\n

I made up my mind such that I need to clear the exam in the first attempt and I did what all are required to get through the exams. <\/span><\/p>\n

Being socially less engaged in various online platforms saved me from wasting my time. My day used to begin at 6 in the morning with some reading of general books which I am more interested in. <\/span><\/p>\n

Every day I used to prepare from 7 am-6 pm with little breaks in the middle. My schedule is strictly followed without any deviations. <\/span><\/p>\n

I did not take a single day break in those 72 days of my preparation. I strongly feel two things are very important that aspirants should keep in their minds for success,<\/span><\/p>\n

one is BELIEVE IN YOURSELF<\/b>\u00a0 <\/b>and the other is a\u00a0POSITIVE ATTITUDE.<\/b> I feel these two qualities leads you to success in a very short span. <\/span><\/p>\n

Never lose hope during your preparation, read the life stories of successful people, observe their struggles, draw inspiration from them and always believe ”YOU ARE UNIQUE!”<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
