Initially, he did not have enough confidence to clear such exams due to his poor academic records, but his family stood by him like a supporting pillar and he went on to achieve his dreams.<\/p>\n

Motivating Success Story of Dileep Kumar<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Hello aspirants, my name is Dileep Kumar. Speaking about myself, I was never restricted by anyone in my family and was given complete freedom to make my own decisions from a very early age.<\/span><\/p>\n

Example: After SSC, I joined Science Stream in +2, and then B. Com in Graduation along with ICWA (ICWA was left in the middle).<\/span><\/p>\n

His Journey So Far:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

I tried three different things at the great learning age. So, like a famous proverb, \u201cRolling Stone Gathers No Moss.\u201d\u00a0 I had almost very little knowledge of anything. <\/span><\/p>\n

My basic nature was to skip responsibilities, and just to get relieved from education after completing my graduation. After graduation, I joined a call centre and the job was so relaxed that I settled in it for 4 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the other side, whenever my parents attended any of the family related or friends related functions, they faced severe embarrassments because of my education and career when compared to contemporaries.<\/span><\/p>\n

My family and a few well-wishers were always worried about my career prospectus and advised me to do an MBA, so I did a distance MBA. <\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, I moved from the call centre to another reputed company. At the same time, my sister always used to ask me to start preparing for government exams<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/em>. She had more confidence in me than what I had on myself. <\/span><\/p>\n

She told me that the Banking sector is providing a great opportunity for writing exams for the graduates who do not have first-class in their graduation and also the recruitment process is fast, transparent and the syllabus is moderate when compared to other competitive exams.<\/span><\/p>\n

But on the other hand, I always used to tell her by saying it’s been more than 8 years that I left studies and how can I succeed (just to again skip the burden of studying).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0After a while, situations in my office became chaotic and I started working 12-14 hours a day and still, I found myself in a bad position.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even though I delivered everything on time without any delays, I was screwed for no reason. That\u2019s when I realized that I am working here for 12-14 hours a day and still my job isn\u2019t secure and safe. So, I thought why not take a break and put these hours in preparing for a government job, so I quit the job. <\/span><\/p>\n

Then I enjoyed 6 months as a break from corporate culture and started preparing for IBPS Exams (I was only eligible to IBPS & SBI exams and not for PGDF programs because of my low graduation percentage, which only comes annually). There is a famous saying \u201cYou don\u2019t know the depth until you step in.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

My Preparation Strategy<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

It was in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh, where I met a teacher who asked me a few questions to check my capability and advised that if prepared strategically, I can make it.<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s when I understood that I was very weak at basics of Quants and Reasoning, so I started with RS Agarwal book for a month and understood basics along with the daily tests. <\/span><\/p>\n

After a few months, I realized that it’s a herculean task to compete with the young champs, and cannot attempt the same number of questions like they do in the exam. So, I strategically worked on my strong areas like \u201cAccuracy\u201d and made sure that I almost reached their scores with few attempts.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this process, I also understood that the \u201cLuck\u201d factor plays a role indeed. I attended two interviews and once got into the reserve list, but that year reserve list was not fully cleared and also in the other interview attempted my overall score wasn\u2019t sufficient to be in the final list.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the initial 2 years I only studied when the notifications were out, and the rest of the time I wasted by surfing the net and with other cultural activities. Finally, I was in a situation where I was only left with the last attempt in the IBPS due to age factor. <\/span><\/p>\n

So, this time I didn\u2019t wait till the notification and started preparation from Feb 2019. I thoroughly followed various daily tests, quizzes & Oliveboard Tests<\/a><\/span><\/strong> for Quant<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and Reasoning<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

When you give your best with no loops in the middle, God and Luck will always favour you. And my hard work showed true colours and I was selected in Karnataka Grameen Bank as a PO. It took nearly 3 years for me to succeed.<\/span><\/p>\n

I dedicate this little success to my parents, my lovely sister & Oliveboard.<\/span><\/p>\n

P.S:<\/strong><\/span> Almighty will present a book to every individual to write their path in their life and that book is what you write for your life. <\/span><\/p>\n

He also did the same to me. I scribbled the pages and when I turned back those pages nothing was meaningful and I could not understand what I wrote, so I threw that book aside and started feeling depressed and cursed God.<\/span><\/p>\n

But after some time when I looked at that book, I was surprised to see that it was a two-sided notebook, and then I realized my mistake of scribbling and started writing it fresh & meaningful from the new side of the book. <\/span><\/p>\n

So, remember guys, Life always gives you a 2nd opportunity and we just need to realize at the right time and respond appropriately. It\u2019s never too late to start. Be Positive & never lose hope as your hard work never goes in vain.<\/span><\/p>\n
