Certificate of eligibility will not, however, be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2.1 UPSC NDA 2020 &#8211; Age Limit<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd January 2002, and not later than 1st January 2005 are eligible.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">NOTE 1:<\/span><\/strong> Candidates should note that only the date of birth as recorded in the Matriculation\/ Secondary School Examination Certificate available or an equivalent certificate on the date of submission of applications will be accepted by the Commission and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">NOTE 1: The candidates should also note that no addition\/deletion\/any changes are allowed in online application form in the NDA &amp; NA Examination in any circumstances once it is submitted.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2.2 UPSC NDA 2 Notification &#8211; Educational Qualifications<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>(i) <strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">For Army Wing of National Defence Academy:\u2014<\/span><\/strong>12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy:<\/span><\/strong>\u201412th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">NOTE 1:<\/span><\/strong> Candidates appearing in the 11th class exam are not eligible for this examination.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">NOTE 2:<\/span><\/strong> Those candidates who have yet to qualify in the 12th class or equivalent examination and are allowed to appear in the UPSC Examination should note that this is only a special concession given to them. The link will be active from 13th July to 19th July 2020.<\/p>\n<p>(iii) The candidate should have details of one photo ID viz. Aadhar Card\/ Voter Card\/ PAN Card\/ Passport\/ Driving License\/ School Photo ID\/Any other photo ID Card issued by the State\/Central Government. The details of this photo ID will have to be provided by the candidate while filling up the online application form. The same photo ID card will also have to be uploaded with the Online Application Form. This photo ID will be used for all future referencing and the candidate is advised to carry this ID while appearing for examination\/SSB.<\/p>\n<p>(iv) The NDA&amp; NA Examination (I) 2020, which was scheduled to be held on 19.04.2020, was deferred against the backdrop of the COVID-19 outbreak. Now, a common examination will be held for both NDA&amp;NA Examination (I) and NDA&amp; NA Examination (II) 2020 on September 6, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>(v) Candidates of NDA&amp; NA Examination (I) 2020 who intend to apply for NDA&amp; NA (II) Examination 2020 should note that their photograph, signature, choice of Centre &amp; Photo ID as per NDA &amp; NA (II) 2020 application will be utilized for the purpose of allotment of center and future referencing and they are advised to carry this ID while appearing for the examination.<\/p>\n<p>They should also note that any variation in photograph\/signature\/date of birth in two applications may entail cancellation of candidature for either of the two examinations or both.
