I don&#8217;t think I am yet in a place to call it a success story. I&#8217;d rather call it an experience story. So thank you <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oliveboard.in\/ibps-clerk\/?ref=s-story\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oliveboard<\/a><\/strong><\/span> for giving me this chance to share my experience with all the future achievers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My name is Rachna Thakur. I did my graduation in commerce in 2017. After completing my graduation I started preparing for bank exams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After giving the first few exams, I realized it is not as easy as I thought, with the competition scaling up and vacancies plugging down. I started appearing in exams in 2017. I have appeared for more than 20 exams. I failed eight times in prelims.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>IBPS clerk 2018<\/strong>: cleared pre, failed in mains\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>LIC AAO:<\/strong> Cleared pre, cleared mains, but failed to appear in final merit\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>IDBI AM:<\/strong> Waiting list\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>SBI clerk 2019<\/strong>: Cleared pre, failed in mains\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>SBI PO 2019<\/strong>: Cleared pre, failed in mains by 0.21 marks\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>IBPS PO 2019:<\/strong> Failed by 1.68 marks in final merit\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I failed mains but was very close in clearing the cut-off, so that gave me a boost and a positive attitude that I can have my job for sure. And finally, I got selected in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oliveboard.in\/ibps-clerk\/?ref=s-story\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><em><strong>IBPS Clerk<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a> (Bank of Baroda) and in FCI AG III.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Rachna_Thakur_Subject-Wise_Preparation_Strategy\"><\/span><strong>2. Rachna Thakur Subject-Wise Preparation Strategy<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>2.1 Quant Section Preparation Strategy<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Though my favorite subject was always maths still, I needed to learn approaches that make the solution easier and faster. And for that, I used to see videos of many teachers from various Youtube channels.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>2.2 Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is everyone\u2019s favorite. I used to solve the puzzles daily. Almost 8-10 puzzles of different types. I used to take them from every platform available. Just solving more and more makes the approach clear and speed faster.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>2.3 General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I did my GA preparation from Oliveboard bolt series and the 400 MCQs they released and believe me, it helped me a lot.
