Inspiring Success Story of Rahul Manglani<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Introduction:<\/strong> My name is Rahul Manglani, born and brought up in Bhopal (M.P). I did my B.Sc in Computer Science stream in the year 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n

My Journey-><\/strong> After completing my degree. I was in quest of a job and got a placement in the finance company. I did work for 9 to 10 months but was not satisfied. In mid-2015, I started my preparation for the Banking exam. My first exam was RBI Assistant in which I miserably failed. After a few months, I got a breakthrough in the IBPS prelims exam but failed in the GA section of Mains. After this exam, I did understand that this journey is going to be tough and not easy to get selection. I analyzed my weak areas and started working on the topics. Finally, in 2017 I converted BOB (PGDBF) and qualified for the interview but failed to get the final selection by just 6 marks. I appeared in multiple Bank & Insurance examinations and qualified for Preliminary exams but failed in Mains examinations. Till 2019, a lot of ups and downs came in my life. I got exhausted with all the things. It was not easy for me to move back so I decided that for one more year I should try. Luckily at the beginning of 2020, I got selected back to back in three exams, previously I was searching for one job but I had three jobs in my bag.<\/span><\/p>\n

I got selected as an IDBI Assistant Manager, FCI AG (III), SBI JA.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, I am working in the Food Corporation of India and proud to be a part of that organization that ensures the food security of the nation. Before this, I served 9 months in IDBI Bank as an Assistant Manager.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rahul Manglani Subject Wise Preparation Strategy<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Quant:<\/strong> It was my subject but for the speed, I needed to brush up on my concepts so started following YouTube channels. For practice, I totally relied on the Oliveboard test series. Books which I referred to were R.S Agarwal, Quantum Quant, and thoroughly followed open sources.<\/span><\/p>\n

Reasoning:<\/strong> For this section, there was no particular book so I started following some good YT channels and I learned many techniques to crack the puzzles and other topics of Reasoning. I used to solve 10-12 puzzles of different types which boost my morale in the exam.<\/span><\/p>\n

Verbal Ability:<\/strong> I used to follow The Economist, The Guardian, The Hindu, and daily free quizzes & Mock tests helped me to outstrip in the section.<\/span><\/p>\n

General Awareness:<\/strong> In the nascent, this subject was challenging for me. But later, I found this section consisted of different topics like Banking Awareness(BA), Static Gk, Financial Awareness (FA), Current Affairs (CA). I prepared my notes for BA and Static through open sources. Besides, I used to follow websites for CA and FA.<\/span><\/p>\n
