The Department of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has released the vacancy for the post of Assistant Group B Level 6 for total 80 posts.\u00a0In this article, we will discuss about the preparation strategy for ICMR Assistant Quantitative Aptitude. With the right preparation and strategy, the candidates can easily score in ICMR Assistant Quantitative Aptitude part.\u00a0The selection process of the exam is three phase process:<\/p>\n

Phase I:<\/strong> Computer based test (CBT)<\/p>\n

Phase II: <\/strong>Interview<\/p>\n

Phase III: <\/strong>Document verification<\/p>\n

The first phase CBT (in English language only) for this exam is scheduled to be held on 3 January 2020 and it would be of 80 minutes duration and will consist of 80 multiple choice objective type questions. Each question shall be of one mark and there will be a negative marking to the extent of 0.25 marks per question for a wrong response.<\/p>\n

Go through the syllabus: <\/strong>In the detailed syllabus of quantitative aptitude, they mentioned various topics from which the questions can be asked in the exam. Candidate must go through the syllabus which helps to gain the confidence to prepare for ICMR Assistant Quantitative Aptitude part. Knowing the syllabus will help the candidate to set a goal for the preparation and one must have dedication to achieve that goal.<\/p>\n

Do exam analysis:<\/strong> Before start preparing for the exam, candidate must do analysis of available previous year papers thoroughly to know the weight and trend of topics asked in ICMR Assistant Quantitative Aptitude part. Since the syllabus is very vast so the candidate must make a list of topics from which the questions are frequently asked and focus to prepare for that particular section more.<\/p>\n

Make notes and revise them regularly: <\/strong>Prepare a note for important topics and questions and revise them on regular basis. If you learn any new topic, note that down and keep practicing that topic regularly to master that topic. Notes are concise way of writing and learning topics which will help you to revise things just before the exam in and efficient and time saving manner. Do not forget to highlight the important topic while preparing the notes.<\/p>\n

Plan the preparation in a well structure manner: <\/strong>Many candidates start preparing for the exam blindly without knowing the structure of the exam and level of the exam which is totally wrong and will end up in nothing. Time management: <\/strong>Time management is an important key in preparation of ICMR Assistant Quantitative Aptitude part. Apart from Quantitative Aptitude part, there are three other parts as well in the exam. So, candidate must not give all his time to prepare for only one part. He must learn to manage his prepare time and switch his preparation time among different parts of the exam. Also, give some time for revision of the topics, mock tests, and previous years papers.<\/p>\n

Clear concepts:<\/strong> Syllabus of ICMR Assistant Quantitative Aptitude part is very vast, candidate must give ample time to each important topic and do not go to next topic until concept of the current topic is cleared.
