I got 37.75 in Quant in IBPS PO Mains and 32.75 in Quant in IBPS CLERK Mains.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I am a small-town boy from West Bengal. I am a Postgraduate in Applied Geology. I have done my BSc and MSc from Jadavpur University. But I always found that solving puzzles was fun for me. All you need to solve a puzzle is the right approach. The Thread method, Pairing system in floor puzzle, Dot method- all these helped me learn how to solve a puzzle in less time.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Quant<\/strong>: I scored 37.75 in Quant in IBPS PO Mains and 32.75 in Quant in IBPS CLERK Mains. I attempted all the DIs in these exams. My teacher always says &#8220;Focus on DI, don&#8217;t chase after Arithmetic&#8221;. This was the main mantra that&#8217;s why I got these marks. DIs are the big portion in Quant and they also can be solved in the least possible time that I can say from my experience as well.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>General Awareness:<\/strong> I knew that qualifying only Prelims does not give you the job. You also have to clear the Mains and Interview for that. So from Day 1 of my preparation, I started preparing Current Affairs and Banking Awareness daily. I often skipped a lot of news that I could not remember. I read a little but revised it again and again. Only 6 months after completion of Pre exams, I devoted 2 hours daily and that was enough to clear the mains exams. After 2 months of preparation, I used to give a mock test of Prelims every day and 2 mains mock tests each week.
