The Attorney General, like an Advocate General of a State, is not supposed to be a political appointee, in spirit, but this is not the case in practice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Appointment of Attorney General:<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Attorney General of India is appointed by the President of India.
