Still, they must also have the mandatory qualification of Civil Engineering diploma.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Should have proficiency in Punjabi of the standard of Matric.<\/li><li>Applicants who are a ward of Defence Service Personnel, who is a bonafide resident of Punjab State, get appointed through direct appointment, will have to clear pass an examination of Punjabi Language of the standard of Matriculation\/ clear a test held by the Language Wing of the Department of Education of Punjab Government within two (2) years from appointment date.&nbsp;<\/li><li>A candidate who is a discharged War Hero from military\/defence due to disability suffered by him and his widow or dependent family member is appointed based on instructions issued in this regard by the Government.
