Prelims Exam<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Mains Exam<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Interview Round<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to to be eligible for stages 2 and 3, a candidate is required to clear the previous stage, that is in order to qualify for the MPSC mains exam, the candidate has to clear the prelims, and post clearing the MPSC mains, the candidate would be called for the Interview which is the final round of the MPSC Rajyaseva Selection Process.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"MPSC_Rajyaseva_Exam_Pattern\"><\/span><strong>MPSC Rajyaseva Exam Pattern<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The detailed <strong>MPSC Rajyaseva Exam Pattern<\/strong> for each of the stages enumerated above is explained below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>MPSC Rajyaseva Exam Pattern<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;For Prelims:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the first stage of the <strong>MPSC Rajyaseva exam<\/strong> which will serve as a qualifier for the next stage i.e. the mains exam. The MPSC prelims exam consists of 2 papers, both being objective in nature. Both the papers are compulsory to attempt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following table summarizes the features of the <strong>MPSC Prelims exam pattern<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>Paper #&nbsp;<\/td><td>Subject<\/td><td>Number of Questions<\/td><td>Total Marks<\/td><td>Standard of the &nbsp;paper<\/td><td>Duration<\/td><td>Nature of Paper<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Paper I<\/td><td>General Studies<\/td><td>100<\/td><td>200<\/td><td>Degree Level<\/td><td>2 Hours<\/td><td>Objective<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Paper II<\/td><td>CSAT<\/td><td>80<\/td><td>200<\/td><td>A mix of degree and school level (Precisely Topics (1) to (5) &#8211; Degree level; Topic (6) &#8211; Class X level and Topic (7) &#8211; Class X and XII level)*<\/td><td>2 Hours<\/td><td>Objective<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>* Topics for Paper II are listed as below for reference:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Comprehension<\/li><li>Interpersonal skills including communication skills<\/li><li>Logical reasoning and analytical ability<\/li><li>Decision-making and problem-solving<\/li><li>General mental ability<\/li><li>Basic numeracy and data interpretation<\/li><li>Marathi and English language comprehension skills<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Points To Be Noted:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MPSC Rajyaseva Exam Pattern<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;For Prelims<\/strong>:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>As already captured above, there will be <strong>2 papers<\/strong> in the <strong>MPSC prelims exam&nbsp;<\/strong>and carries 200 marks each<\/li><li>2 hours will be allotted for each paper<\/li><li>Marks of <strong>both the papers will be considered only for the purpose of<\/strong> selecting the candidates who will be eligible for the next level i.e. MPSC mains<\/li><li>Candidates must obtain a minimum of 33% in the Prelims to be eligible for the Main exam<\/li><li>Candidates should note that there is a <strong>negative marking&nbsp;<\/strong>for incorrect answers<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>For every incorrect answer, there will be a <strong>deduction of 1\/4th marks<\/strong> allocated to that particular question (Kindly note that previously the deduction was 1\/3rd of the marks allocated to the question)<\/li><li>Also, kindly note that for every question where a candidate marks two options as answers, he\/she will be attracting a negative marking of 1\/4th &nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The exam is available in <strong>two languages<\/strong>, Marathi and English except for the questions which are meant to test the candidate&#8217;s knowledge of English.\u00a0<\/li><li>The questions in paper II which pertain to decision-making <strong>do not attract negative marks<\/strong> even if incorrectly answered. Generally, these comprise question nos. 74 to 80 in paper II.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>MPSC Rajyaseva Exam Pattern<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;For Mains:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The candidates who secure the MPSC cutoff marks which are decided by the state commission will be eligible to take the <strong>MPSC Rajyaseva Mains Exam<\/strong> and they are allotted the admit card to take the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;In the MPSC Rajyaseva Mains Exam, there are <strong>6 papers<\/strong>. Paper I and Paper II: Language papers while Paper III, Paper IV, Paper V, and &nbsp;Paper VI: General studies papers.
