Stage I Computer-Based Test do not follow negative marking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>STAGE-II<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;The exam conducting authorities will prepare a merit list and an Admit Card for stage-II based on the performance in the stage I exam and the ratio determined by ICG. Stage-II tests are only qualifying in nature and will take between one and two days to complete. Stage II involves the following process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Physical Fitness Test (PFT):<\/strong> This test comprises<ul><li>1.6 km running in 7 minutes<\/li><li>20 Squat ups&nbsp;<\/li><li>10 Push-up<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>To qualify, all candidates have to perform all three PFT tests in continuity with no break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Document Verification:<\/strong> In this stage, the authorities will match all information provided during the online application with all original documents, such as the X\/XII mark sheet, caste certificate, photo ID card, etc. If they find any discrepancy in any detail in any document and application form, they will disqualify the candidature of the applicant.<\/li><li><strong>Re-assessment test of Inconsistent Performers:<\/strong> The authorities will conduct an additional exam for inconsistent performers after qualifying PFT\/document verification. This test is similar to the stage I written exam. If the inconsistent performances do not clear this exam, they will not qualify for the next stage.<\/li><li><strong>Initial Medicals Examination:<\/strong> In this test, a medical officer will declare the candidates as fit or permanently\/temporarily unfit. Candidates declared unfit can appeal against the finding of the initial medical examination within the set time.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Stage- III<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the vacancies available and ICG ratio, the exam authority will release a national level merit list and admit cards for stage III.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Document Verification:<\/strong> Even if a candidate passes stage II document verification, he may fail stage III document verification. The authorities may cancel the candidature if there is any discrepancy between the uploaded documents and the original documents produced for physical verification at Stage III.<\/li><li><strong>Final Medicals (at INS Chilka):<\/strong> All selected candidates will undergo a final medical examination at INS Chilka. Non-medically fit candidates will not qualify for training at INS Chilka. Any candidate deemed medically unfit may appeal their findings within 21 days at the candidate\u2019s expense at the selected Military Hospital, if they wish.&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Checking of original documents and police verification forms:<\/strong> During this process, all candidates will have to produce original documents along with the police verification forms, other required forms, and Stage-III Admit Card. They must have a police verification form duly verified from their place of origin or current residence. Failing to do so, they will not qualify for training.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Stage- IV<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The candidates must submit all original documents for verification by the ICG through boards\/universities\/state governments. If the documents submitted are found to be false, the authorities will fire the candidate and file criminal charges.
