There are different types of comparisons of quantities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Quadratic equation based questions<\/li><li>When two quantities of same topic<\/li><li>When two quantities of different topic<\/li><li>Based on three quantities<\/li><li>When one quantity has numerical value<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tips_for_handling_Comparison_of_Quantities_Questions\"><\/span>Tips for handling Comparison of Quantities Questions:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Don&#8217;t overwork yourself; focus only on what you need to do to make the comparison. You are only required to determine which quantity (if either) is greater, not how much greater one quantity is than the other.<\/li><li>The majority of Quantitative Comparison questions do not require elaborate calculations. Although a bit of pencil work may help confirm your analysis, if you are crunching a lot of numbers, you may overlook whatever math concept is at the heart of the question.<\/li><li>Whenever possible, do not compare quantities based on a geometric figure or other visual aid. Compare them instead based on the non-graphical data provided and your knowledge of mathematics.<\/li><li>This technique may simplify one or both of the expressions, thereby disclosing the comparison. The ratio of the efficiency of a man to a woman is 4 : 3. A group of 2 men and 2 women together can complete a piece of work in 12 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Quantity I: How many days, a group of a man and three women will take to complete the same piece of work?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Quantity II: if the efficiency of a man was increased by 20% and the efficiency of a woman was increased by 50% then how many days would they take to complete 75% of the piece of work if they worked together?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Quantity : I &gt; Quantity : II<\/li><li>Quantity : I \u2265 Quantity : II<\/li><li><strong>Quantity : I &lt; Quantity : II<\/strong><\/li><li>Quantity : II \u2265 Quantity : I<\/li><li>Quantity I = Quantity II or relation can&#8217;t be established<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Q3. When 5 liters of water were added with some quantity of pure milk then the ratio of milk to water became 3:2.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quantity I: In the mixture, when 1.5 liters of pure milk are added then what will be the concentration of milk in the new mixture?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quantity II: Instead of 5 liters of water, if 3.5 liters of water were added and the quantity of pure milk remained
