Arunima was pushed out of a moving train by a gang of thieves wanting to snatch her bag and gold chain. As a result one of her legs had to be amputated below the knee.<\/span><\/p>\n Arunima was provided a prosthetic leg. But this did not stop her. Arunima resolved to climb Mount Everest, the highest mountain on Earth. Sinha reached the summit of Mount Everest on May 21st<\/sup>, becoming the first female amputee to scale Everest.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Abdul Kalam was born in a poor family and had to fund his own education. His father was a boat owner who gave his boats on rent. He was rejected thrice by the Indian Army and was selected in his fourth attempt. He was later introduced to athletics and was selected by the army for special training in Athletics.<\/span><\/p>\n Milkha went on to become a great athlete and won Gold medals.
