So sequence should be 1st&nbsp;person, followed by 2nd&nbsp;Person and 3rd&nbsp;at last.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>I<\/strong>, You and He have made a blunder. (123) Similarly, In case of two pronouns:<\/li><li><strong>You <\/strong>and He have done this mischief. (23)<\/li><li><strong>I <\/strong>and You are responsible for this loss. (12)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> <strong>If the sentence has positive sense then pronouns sequence should be 2nd&nbsp;Person,  followed by 3rd person, and 1st person at last.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You, He and <strong>I <\/strong>shall study for the exam. (231)<\/li><li>He and <strong>I <\/strong>have finished our work. (31)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. If two subjects are joined by these words &#8211; As well as, with, along with, together with, and <\/strong><strong>not, in addition to, but, besides, except, rather than, like, unlike, nothing but, then the verb should be used according to the 1st subject.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Ram <\/strong>as well as his parents <strong>is <\/strong>coming. (Correct)<\/li><li>My <strong>father <\/strong>unlike my uncles <strong>is <\/strong>very strict. (Correct)<\/li><li>The <strong>captain <\/strong>along with the sailors <strong>were <\/strong>drowned. (wrong)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4.<\/strong> <strong>If two subjects are joined by Neither&#8230;.nor, Either&#8230;&#8230;or, Not only&#8230;.. but also, Nor, or, None<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, then verb will be used according to the nearest subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Neither Ram nor <strong>Shyam has <\/strong>come.<\/li><li>Either Ram or his <strong>friends have <\/strong>come.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5.Collective noun always carry singular verb, singular pronoun, if there is a sense of unity in the sentence.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The <strong>herd <\/strong>of cows <strong>is <\/strong>grazing in the field.<\/li><li>The committee has unanimously taken its decision.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, if sense of separation or negative sense is used then plural verb will be used. Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The jury are divided in their opinion.<\/li><li>The audience have taken their seats.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6.<\/strong> <strong>Each, Every, One + Of&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &gt; Noun\/pronoun (Plural) but Verb will be singular.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>One of the boys has done his work. (correct)<\/li><li>Each of the students in the computer class has to type their own research paper this semester. (wrong)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7.<\/strong> <strong>Each other \u2013 for two persons One another \u2013 for more than two<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The two sisters shouted at one another in public. (X)<\/li><li>Zeenat and Zaheer love each other.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8. Either \u2013 for choosing one out of two persons<\/strong>, <strong>One\/any \u2013 for choosing one out of more than two<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Either of these two pens is red.<\/li><li>Either of these three friends is naughty. (X)<\/li><li>One of these three friends is naughty.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>9<\/strong>. <strong>Neither \u2013 In negative sense for two persons<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>None \u2013 In negative sense for more than two persons<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Neither of these two girls is active.<\/li><li>Neither of his four sons looked after him. (X)<\/li><li>None of his four sons looked after him.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>10. If two singular nouns are joined with &#8220;AND&#8221; and article &#8220;THE&#8221; is used with first noun than the sentence have sense of unity so singular adjective\/pronoun will be used.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The secretary and treasurer is negligent of their duty. (X)<\/li><li>The secretary and treasurer is negligent of his duty.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If both the nouns have article &#8220;THE&#8221; then adjective\/pronoun used will be plural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The secretary and the treasurer did not do their work themselves.<\/li><li>The secretary and the Principal of the college is attending the meeting at the collectorate.
