- Single Online Examination
- Common Interview
Unlike Officer Scale-I, the Scale-II CA post does not have a Preliminary Examination. Candidates applying for Officer Scale-II Specialist posts appear directly for the Single Online Examination. Candidates shortlisted based on the Single Examination are subsequently called for the Common Interview. The final provisional allotment for Scale-II candidates is made based on merit-cum-preference, subject to the actual vacancies reported by the participating RRBs and other applicable conditions.

The IBPS RRB CA Officer 2026 exam pattern consists of six tests, including Professional Knowledge, Reasoning, Financial Awareness, Language, Computer Knowledge and Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation.
