The Indian Institute of Banking and Finance has released the 2026 Notification for the IT Security Certification Examination. The registration process is going to start from 12th January 2026 and the last date to submit the form is on 18th January 2026. The IIBF IT Security Certification will not only enhance awareness among bank employees about essential IT security practices and their effective implementation but will also equip banking professionals with the knowledge required to safeguard organizational interests in an increasingly digital environment.

IIBF IT Security Registration Process 2026

 

To apply for the IIBF IT Security exam, first visit the official IIBF website and navigate to ‘Examinations/Courses', then select ‘Certificate Courses', choose ‘IT Security', and click ‘Apply Online'. Login using your Membership Number and Password, or register as a new user to get a Membership ID. Fill in your personal, academic, and work details, and select your preferred exam date and time. Choose your study material option e-book or e-learning modules and access will be provided after registration. Pay the exam fee online using Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Finally, download your admit letter from your IIBF profile after successful registration.

IIBF Diploma Certification in Information System Audit

 

The Diploma in Information System Audit (DISA) is a prestigious certification awarded by the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF). It is designed for banking and finance professionals who wish to gain advanced expertise in information systems, cybersecurity, and digital fraud management. To be eligible for the DISA diploma, candidates must successfully complete all three mandatory Certificate Examinations under the revised syllabus (effective from May 2017). These include:

  • Certificate Examination in IT Security
  • Certificate Examination in Prevention of Cyber Crimes and Fraud Management
  • Certificate Examination in Information System Banker

After clearing all three of the above certificate exams under the revised syllabus, candidates are required to apply separately for the DISA certification by paying a nominal fee of ₹500 plus applicable taxes.

It is important to note that candidates who had passed any or all of the above certificate examinations under the old syllabus (before May 2017) must reappear and pass the exams under the revised syllabus to be eligible for the DISA diploma.
