Because of the challenges caused by COVID-19, where universities couldn’t conduct exams and provided pass/promotion certificates based on different criteria, the CAT Committee of 2023 decided that candidates taking CAT 2023 wouldn’t need a minimum percentage of marks in their bachelor’s degree.

Now, IIM Ahmedabad’s Admissions Committee decided to remove the bachelor’s degree component from shortlisting criteria for all candidates.
