XAT 2024 Registration 1.35 Lakh Applications Received – Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) has witnessed a remarkable 40% increase in registrations this year. The total number of applications received for XAT 2024 reached 135,000, marking an unprecedented surge compared to previous years. The registration period for XAT 2024 began on July 15 and concluded on December 10, 2023.
In the broader context of MBA entrance exams this season, there has been a significant rise in registrations. CAT 2023 set a new record with an all-time high of 3.30 lakh registrations, and SNAP 2023 also experienced a notable 25% increase, totaling 1.42 lakh applications.
Prof. Rahul Shukla, Convenor of XAT, said, “XAT has always been a proponent of diversity, and our test’s design reflects that. We’ve emphasized this message to our candidates, which may be one of the driving factors behind this historic surge in registrations.” Furthermore, this year’s success can be attributed to an organized campaign that aimed to reach out to participants effectively, with the support of associate business schools. Prof. Shukla added, “We are committed to taking XAT to new heights. While we have never compromised on the standard of the test, this year we made a concerted effort to dispel misconceptions. We wanted to convey that XAT is a smart test for smart aspirants. It’s heartening to see 135,000 smart aspirants registering with us.”
Approximately 700 MBA colleges in India accept XAT scores. The exam is conducted in over 70 cities across the country in a computer-based test mode. XAT is known for its speed-based format, featuring over 100 multiple-choice questions covering Verbal Ability, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Decision Making, and General Knowledge. The XAT 2024 exam is scheduled for January 7, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Admit cards for XAT 2024 will be available starting from December 20, 2023.
