The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Junior Engineer (JE) Exam to recruit candidates in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering departments of various government ministries and organizations. The SSC JE 2025 Exam will be conducted in two stages – Paper I and Paper II, both in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. As per the official pattern, the SSC JE Paper I is scheduled to be held from 27th to 31st October 2025.

The SSC JE Exam Pattern 2025 consists of two stages: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) with objective-type questions, while Paper 2 is also an objective-type CBT introduced from 2023 onwards. Both papers test the candidate's knowledge in General Intelligence, General Awareness, and Engineering subjects relevant to their discipline (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical).
