UIIC AO Exam Pattern 2026
The UIIC AO Exam Pattern 2026 consists of a Preliminary Examination followed by a Main Examination and Descriptive Test. The Preliminary Examination is common to both generalists and Hindi officers and carries 100 marks. The mains examination pattern differs for the two disciplines. All objective questions in the Preliminary and Main Examinations carry a penalty of one-fourth of the marks assigned to the question for every wrong answer, while unanswered questions do not attract any penalty. Selected candidates will be appointed as Administrative Officer (Scale-I). The basic pay scale is ₹82,485–4,050 (14)–₹1,39,185–4,390 (4)–₹1,56,745. In addition to the basic pay, selected officers will be eligible for benefits such as Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance, National Pension System (NPS), and leased accommodation as per company rules.
