Conclusion
The XAT exam is one of the toughest MBA entrance exams and requires hard work and dedication from the candidate. You can estimate difficulty by looking at the average number of students on the XAT exam and the number of students on the CAT exam. The numbers are amazing. Approximately 75,000 candidates appeared in the 2020 XAT exam, while around 1.92 lakh candidates appeared for the CAT exam in 2021. Another possible reason is that fewer universities accept XAT scores than CAT. The number of universities that accept XAT results may be small, but all of these are some of the best universities in India. The difficulty level of XAT is very suitable for preparing a candidate for other management entrance exams as the candidate will feel that other proficiency tests are relatively easy after appearing for XAT.
