APPSC Group 1 Exam Pattern
The APPSC Group 1 Exam Pattern is broadly alike to the pattern of the IAS Exam, which is handled by the Union Public Service Commission. The APPSC carries various recruitment exams and assists the state government in matters of recruitment, transfers, and disciplinary action. - The Prelims is comprised of two papers for a sum of 240 marks which is a Screening Examination
- Negative marking is there for wrong answers in Prelims
- Applicants who clear Prelims, arrive at the Main phase of the test
- The Mains is a written-descriptive type exam that includes 7 theory papers
- There are two qualifying papers in Mains – Telugu and English
- Applicants’ marks in Mains will be included in the ultimate merit list. Added clarity on the total marks would be determined after the official APPSC announcement.

- Interview Round Marks 75 marks [This round has been discarded for all forthcoming enrollments. APPSC Group 1 2019 is the last evaluation Exam to have an Interview as the last stage.]
- Applicants marks in Mains Exam out of 750 marks
