APPSC Group 2 Eligibility- Eligibility Criteria, Attempts

Every year, the APPSC (Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission) issues a notification for the recruitment of qualified individuals for Group – 2 positions. The vacancy is released for a number of posts such as Assistant Commercial Tax Officer (A.C.T.O.) in the A.P. Commercial Taxes Subordinate Service, Assistant Labour Officer (A.L.O.) in the A.P. Labour, Employment Subordinate Service, Assistant Development Officers (A.D.O.) in the A.P. Handloom and Textile Department and Deputy Tahsildar in the A.P. Revenue Subordinate Service. The applicants must refer to the APPSC Group 2 Eligibility criteria before applying for various posts.

Age Relaxations For Different Categories

Age relaxations are available to candidates from specific categories in the APPSC Group 2 age limit. The age relaxation for Group 2 APPSC exams for reserved categories is as follows:

Candidates must also be fluent in both of the local languages, namely Hindi and Telugu.

Number Of Attempts

The APPSC Commission has not set a limit on how many times a candidate can apply for these positions. Candidates may continue to apply for these positions until they reach the APPSC’s maximum age limit.

Experience

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) does not require candidates to have any specific experience in order to apply for Group 2 positions. However, some additional requirements for specific positions are listed in the preceding table.
