This year BPSC has released notification regarding recruitment for CDPO on their official website for hiring the deserving candidate. The exam for the same is going to conduct on 31^st October 2021. A total of 55 vacancies have been announced for the post of Child Development Project Officer by BPSC. Eligible candidates can apply for this recruitment before the end of the last date of submission of application i.e.,1^st April 2021. BPSC CDPO Salary Structure

• Candidates clearing all the stages of selection will be considered eligible for the job and will be selected for the post after a period of two years under probation and will get the pay as per 7^TH Pay Commission under the probation period.

• Salary will be paid as per Level 9^th pay grade after the end of the Probation period of 2 years. Accordingly, basic allowances will increase under the 9^th pay grade.
• Salary package for Bihar PSC CDPO per annum under 7^th Pay Commission stands at INR 6.2 Lacs to INR 12 Lacs under probation period. The monthly average salary ranges between INR 53,000 to INR 1,67,000.

BPSC CDPO Probation Period

• Under a Probation period of 2 years, candidates will be provided with training and gain working knowledge and experiences regarding their job. If a candidate is found eligible under this probation period will be selected for the post of CDPO. It is to be noted that BPSC holds complete right to terminate job offers and perks/ benefits provided along with during and post probation also of a candidate.

BPSC CDPO Job Profile

Candidates getting selected have to perform the below-mentioned duties as CDPO

• Implement the ICDS scheme
• Implement Supplementary Nutrition Program
• Overall, in charge of the office of the CDPO. Recommending ICDS.
• Recommendation of leave of all staff.
• Submission of proposals to the Directorate in respect of schemes, Budget Estimate, Five Year Plan, Annual Plan, etc.
• Recommendation of Awards for Anganwadi workers and helpers.

BPSC CDPO Eligibility Criteria 

One can apply for the CDPO under BPSC only if all the conditions for eligibility are fulfilled. The Eligibility Criteria for attempting BPSC CDPO Exam 2021 includes all the following: –

• Educational Qualifications 

Candidates must have a graduation or bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized board or university.

• Age Limit 

The maximum and minimum age for the general category as mentioned on the official site for BPSC CDPO Exam 2021 is 37 and 21 years respectively. However, the commission has provided age relaxation for various categories.

• Nationality

• Experience

BPSC CDPO Selection Process

The selection process of BPSC CDPO is carried out in 3 stages as mentioned below

1. Prelims 

• Prelims are the first round of the selection process (written exam)
• A test is conducted for a total of 150 marks.
• The time allotted for the test is 2 hours
• The subject matter of the test covers General Knowledge and General Awareness section from topics like National and International Affairs 

2. Mains

• Candidates will be called for Mains Exam 2021 after they Qualify the cut off marks required category wise for prelims.
• Two sets of papers need to be clear by the candidates to qualify the mains.
• It consists of Compulsory and Optional Papers sections.

3. Interview

• Candidates who qualify prelims and after that mains will be eligible for the interview.
• Candidates who clear all stages of the interview will be selected for the post of BPS CDPO selection process.
• The interview will be conducted for 120 Marks to test or analyze your personality, behaviour, tact, promptness, leadership or management skills.
