Coast Guard GD Navik Exam Pattern- Exam Pattern, Passing Marks

The Indian Coast Guard annually conducts the Navik (General Duty) Recruitment examination. The official notification for the recruitment was released on 16th December 2022. In all, there are 260 vacancies. The application process will start on 4th January 2022 and continue till 14th January 2022. Physical Fitness Test

Candidates clearing the written examination will undergo a Physical Fitness Test (PFT). The PFT will take about 2 days. 

Physically Challenged candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination. The parameters for the Physical fitness test are given below:

Medical Examination

After clearing the written examination and the Physical Fitness Test, the candidates will have to undergo a medical examination. Medical examination will be conducted by the Military Doctors as per the medical standards prescribed in current regulations applicable to Enrolled Personnel on entry. Given below is the Medical Criteria for Indian Coast Guard Navik General Duty:
