NDA Exam Date 2023 – Exam Pattern

- Mode of Exam: The NDA 2 Exam will be conducted in the offline mode, which means candidates will have to write the exam using pen and paper.
- Question Format: The exam questions will be in the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format. For each question, candidates will have multiple options to choose from, and they need to select the correct answer.
- Bilingual Language: The exam will be conducted in two languages – English and Hindi. Candidates can choose either language to read and answer the questions, based on their preference and comfort.
- Negative Marking: In the exam, there will be a penalty for incorrect answers. For every wrong answer in the Mathematics section, 0.83 marks will be deducted from the total score. Similarly, for wrong answers in the English and General Knowledge sections, 1.33 marks will be deducted.
Here’s a proper table displaying the subjects, maximum marks, and duration for the NDA Exam:
Code | Subject | Maximum Marks | Duration |

1 | Mathematics | 300 | 2.5 hours |
2 | General Ability Test | 600 | 2.5 hours |
Total | 900 | 5 hours |
Remember to prepare well and be cautious while attempting the questions to avoid losing marks due to negative marking. Good luck with your exam!
NDA Exam Date 2023 – NDA Exam Centers
In the NDA exam, each examination center has a limited capacity for the number of candidates it can accommodate. Centers will be allotted to candidates on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once a center is full, candidates will not be able to choose that center and will have to select another one nearby. However, certain centers like Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata, and Nagpur do not have any seat limits, so candidates can choose these centers without any restrictions. Once the center is allotted to a candidate, the UPSC will not accept any requests for changing the center. So, candidates need to choose their preferred centers early to ensure they get their desired exam center.
